Nocellara del Belice is a variety of high-quality olives, both green and black, much appreciated as a snack and grown in the valley of the same name. The olives have a crunchy and firm pulp with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Thanks to their large size, these olives are the perfect nutritious and antioxidant snack and also a tasty ingredient for many dishes. "Nocellara del Belice" is an excellent choice both for the production of table olives and oil, to such an extent that in 1997 it received the prestigious European D.O.P. quality mark which certifies its protected origin.
